JJ Hollis acquired Hot Rayz Limousines in December of 2007 as his third venture into the limousine business. He started his first limo business in Orlando in the early ‘80’s while working primarily as a celebrity photographer. For his talents behind the lens, he was accredited and awarded several gold and platinum records in recognition of the album covers he shot. Among them were awards from MCA Records for his work on the Lynyrd Skynyrd live album, “Southern By The Grace Of God.”

In addition, he photographed a virtual who’s who of rock stars during a ten year span. Other work of note during that time includes his two year assignment as publicity photographer for the “Superboy” television series for Viacom Productions.

Having learned the photography and limousine business from his heavy involvement with rock stars and Hollywood celebrities, he brought this experience to Melbourne with the start up of JJ’s Limousines. Giving that same VIP treatment to his customers helped him soon become the largest and best known limousine company in the county. After 4 years of successful operations, he sold that business with what was by then a 9 vehicle fleet and no longer has any ties to them.

With the acquisition of HotRayz, he is ironically now in competition with his old company. But he is still employing the same philosophy of VIP treatment for everyone that gave him his reputation for quality service. Treating your customers as if they were rock stars and Hollywood celebrities is what is expected from a truly professional limousine service.
